TERRAIN AI Framework

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 10, 2026

1. Information collected

This site doesn't run analytics or tracking pixels. Information is only collected when you actively use one of these:

  • Contact, feedback, and case-study forms — name (optional on some forms), email, and whatever you write in the message/details fields.
  • Sign-in (optional) — handled entirely by Clerk, a third-party authentication provider. If you sign in, Clerk manages your account (email, authentication method); this site doesn't see or store your password.
  • The "Ask TERRAIN" AI Copilot — the question you type is sent for processing to generate an answer. It isn't linked to your identity or sign-in state.
  • Theme preference — your light/dark mode choice, saved in your browser's local storage, never sent to this site's servers.

2. Use of information

Form submissions are turned into GitHub Issues in a private repository, visible only to the TAIF team, so they can be reviewed and (for case studies and feedback) actioned or published. Copilot questions are sent to an AI model to generate a grounded answer and are not stored or linked back to you afterward.

3. Sharing of information

Form data is shared only with the private GitHub repository used to manage submissions — never sold, and never shared with advertisers. Clerk (sign-in) and Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection on forms) are third-party services that process data under their own privacy policies, not this site's, since this site never sees the underlying data they handle (e.g. your password).

4. Retention

Form submissions remain in the private GitHub repository under normal repository retention. If you've signed in via Clerk, your account data is retained per Clerk's own policies until you delete your account.

5. Your rights

You can request removal of a form submission by reaching out through the Contact page. If you signed in via Clerk, you can manage or delete your account directly through Clerk's account interface.

6. Security

This site is served entirely over HTTPS, and forms are protected against automated abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile.

7. Children's privacy

This site does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change with it.

9. Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent via the Contact page.
